Challenges
BCG’s main prerogative was maintaining a captive audience. UX strategy required analyzing click rates and user flows in order to achieve this engagement. BCG utilized their own development team to build this article, so it was crucial to design elements that made the final sendoff as seamless as possible.
Solution
Incorporating more interactive elements provided new visual engagement and allowed for copy to be dispersed more widely. In addition, utilizing typographic hierarchy and accordions condensed information into smaller, bite-sized pieces. This essay was launched right before the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, or COP27, attracting a whole new audience to BCG. This piece showcases BCG at the forefront of climate action solutions.
